Office Manager

Great opportunity, Great Benefits for an Experienced Medical Office Manager. Candidate must have at least two years of management experience working in a family practice or urgent care environment. Bilingual is a PLUS!

Responsibilities Include:

  • Hiring, training and empowering team members for success in giving great patient care
  • Delegating responsibilities when necessary
  • Team building and monitoring adherence to WeCareMD culture in order to give world class patient care
  • Monitoring and evaluating staff performance and behaviors
  • Scheduling team to meet operational requirements
  • Processing payroll
  • Monitoring employee time cards and overtime adherence
  • Implementing established office policies and procedures
  • Scheduling regular training sessions and meetings to keep the team up to date and in compliance
  • Managing insurance contracts and ensure compliance with contracts
  • Controlling removal of medical waste in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with current health care regulations, medical laws and ethics
  • Keeping track of equipment and devices and manage inventory
  • Meeting with vendors regarding equipment and supplies
  • Ensuring patient records are current and accurate
  • Supervising patient scheduling
  • Overseeing patient registration
  • Supervising medical coding and billing
  • Communicating with patients regarding inquiries and complaints
  • Monitoring surveys to ensure patient satisfaction
  • Giving constructive feedback to ensure proper workflow and compliance
  • Recognize achievements in high performing team members
  • Administer disciplinary action and/or employee terminations when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with all OSHA, HIPAA and Government Program guidelines

Required Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of human resource management principles and practices
  • Knowledge of medical coding and billing
  • Knowledge of medical issues and terminology
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and state and federal laws
  • Computer skills including knowledge of relevant software
  • Relevant experience
