Back Office Manager
Great opportunity, Great Benefits for a full time certified medical assistant to perform back office management duties. Candidate must be certified with at least two years of management experience working in a family practice or urgent care environment. Bilingual is a PLUS!
- Oversee and manage clinical flow, the interaction of all clinical staff, and all daily functions.
- Ensure all MAs provide quality medical treatment.
- Promote a positive work environment in which team members willingly serve each other and refuse to tolerate unacceptable treatment of others.
- Manage and train MAs to continually improve performance and skill level.
- Recognize achievements and give team member performance appraisals.
- Delegate the documentation of weekly eye-wash inspections, temperature logs, monthly fire extinguisher inspections, and the change of sharps container to medical assistants on your team.
- Ensure that all MAs are aware of training they must receive and monitor performance of these duties for quality assurance.
- Train all team members to provide world-class customer service to all patients and families.
- Work to resolve conflicts among team members.
- Take necessary disciplinary measures with direction from the office manager.
- Maintain all state reports and logs
- Assist Office Manager with performance evaluations.
- Perform Medical Assistant duties.
- Resolve patient issues.
- Document and maintain patient records.
- Practice HIPAA compliance both at work and off duty
- Follow all OSHA, HIPAA and other government regulations.
- Resolve issues between staff members.
- Assist with lab bill corrections.
