Thank you for choosing WeCareMD as your healthcare provider. Please familiarize yourself with the following Clinic Policies.

After Hours Emergency Calls

In the event of a life threatening emergency call 911 immediately or visit your nearest Emergency Room. Please reserve after-hours and weekend calls for non-life threatening emergency situations, and allow routine concerns and questions to be addressed during normal clinic hours. Should you need assistance after-hours please call (770) 943-7808 , and our answering service will page the WeCareMD Board Certified Provider on-call. If you do not receive a return call within 20 minutes, please contact us again.

Existing patients may request appointments online through our Patient Portal or by calling the office during normal clinic hours. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you arrive late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled. New patients should arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment, and bring an Insurance Card, Drivers License or Passport and all medications. We require all new patients to complete the New Patient Forms in advance and bring them to their first visit.

Appointment No-Show Policy

It is our policy that 24 hours notice is required for cancellation. Failure to provide 24 hour prior notice of your cancellation will result in a $50.00 no-show charge for regular appointments and $75 for annual physical appointments. Two (3) no-shows will result in termination of care at WeCareMD.

Prescription Policies

The fastest way to request prescription refills is to call your pharmacy, as we fill pharmacy requests electronically. Request your refills in a timely manner to ensure your prescription is refilled prior to running out. Some prescriptions may require labs or a physician assessment prior to refilling. Please communicate this information with our office accordingly. Prescription refills can take 24-48 hours to complete. Refills are processed during regular clinic hours only, and are not issued on weekends, holidays or after hours.

Test Results

Laboratory services that are obtained and/or performed at WeCareMD are sent to an outside facility. It is our policy to report results directly to patients either via the telephone or during follow-up appointments. In addition, most lab results will be available for review on the Patient Portal, after a member of our staff has notified you of your results.
